Only yesterday I found out this song is by James Gang, one of the bands Joe Walsh played in. I love the guitar parts in this song; the slow melodic fat leads and the rhythm guitar where only the first chord is on the beat, and the rest syncoped. Great stuff!

Live, with even better guitar work (I think). Love the seventies looks of that drummer!
Live in 1977 with the Eagles. Sounds as if the drummer doesn’t get the bit after the chorus.

I don’t really know what this song has to do with funk; but it’s sure a good example of seventies rock. Joe Walsh could wail a lot more on his guitar here than he could in the Eagles. The only thing I don’t really like about this song is the drum solo.
