Super song with super guitar sound by Dave Gilmour, Have A Cigar is again one timeless Pink Floyd song, off Wish You Were Here.
Foo Fighters recorded a version of Have A Cigar, One reason I like them so much, is that they love all kinds of music, and don’t think themselves too big to turn into a bunch of fans without pretentions, just playing covers they like.
About Primus’ cover; I don’t know. I think they’re too much out of whack. Plus, although I am a bit of a bass player myself, I hate Les Claypool’s fretless sound.
For me it is Pink Floyd number one, Foo Fighters’ hommage a good second. But judge for yourself! :)

This is the band I’d like to play in. Super melodic lines, soft poppy stuff AND hardrock combined in one band. One of the best current bands, I’m always amazed they are still there between the R&B and hip hop crap in the top 10s in the world.
