I remember Joan Baez’ song from back when my parents took us on holiday to France for the first time. I was much moved by it… and couldn’t find it for some 20 years or so.

Now we walked into a flea market yesterday, and my wife spotted this LP where it’s on… so she bought it for me and I just heard it again for the first time since all these years. Still moved to tears by it…

… though I disagree with the lyrics. When people want to weep after me when I’m dead and buried, when that’s their way to grieve, I won’t tell them beforehand not to. They’re free to show their feelings any way they want.
