226 - Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar

Super song with super guitar sound by Dave Gilmour, Have A Cigar is again one timeless Pink Floyd song, off Wish You Were Here.
Foo Fighters recorded a version of Have A Cigar, One reason I like them so much, is that they love all kinds of music, and don’t think themselves too big to turn into a bunch of fans without pretentions, just playing covers they like.
About Primus’ cover; I don’t know. I think they’re too much out of whack. Plus, although I am a bit of a bass player myself, I hate Les Claypool’s fretless sound.
For me it is Pink Floyd number one, Foo Fighters’ hommage a good second. But judge for yourself!
