103 - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama

Frank Zappa again, Weasels Ripped My Flesh again, but it’s what’s playing in my head, over and over and over and over again today; so I guess I’d better post it. :)
This has to be one of the weirdest songtitles in rock.

Youtube - studioversion plus portrait.

Youtube - cover by Frank’s son Dweezil.

Youtube - Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani cover (actually pretty good!)

Sometimes I like to change the title to My Sigar Wants To Kill Your Mama :-)

Little Feat’s Lowell George plays on this album. On ‘Didja Get Any Onya?’ he did the vocals. Neon Park, who painted the cover, did also all the Little Feat covers.

I did know that the keyboardplayer of Little Feat had Zappa-connections, thanks for the info on George!

Maybe I should add a little wikipedia link to the posts, I am a sucker for this kind of trivia.

And done! I installed the Better Wiki Links plugin, with which you can make links to wiki pages the same way as you would in wikipedia itself.
